Feature Request - Button Names

Currently, when changing a scene file for a button, the button's new name changes to the new scene filename. Would it be possible to have an option to keep separate the "name" of the button from the "scene file name" when this occurs? I've previously painstainkingly modified the names of all of my buttons to simple names, whereas the file names can be long and methodical. But now that I have to switch all of my buttons over to scex files, the previous button names have been lost as a result.
