Hi
I have a similar Topic then:
start scene with full 1st step value if fade steps are used
In this case I created a Scene Generator Show with 2 moving heads and activated shift. In "0" Position the moving head number 2 is located in the uper Right Corner. I like that I i starte Scene Generator Scene, the moving Head should NOT start in their Zero position. I recommencd either calculating the Right value or using the same Position than the 1st mofing head.
This is also visible directly in Scene Generator - look attached screenshot
Im using latest sweetlight Version 9.2.10 & Windows 10 1909 latest Version as well.
Thanks
BeDo

Re: scene generator with shift starts device 2 in ZERO posit
I think its a Problem with negative (-) Shift
Re: scene generator with shift starts device 2 in ZERO posit
Hi I uploaded the Scene here.
If I use positive shift it Looks correct in the Editor. Is it possible to adjust the negativ shift Topic in further versions?

Re: scene generator with shift starts device 2 in ZERO posit
This is effectively due to the negative shift.
The reason is, at first start, the program does not know what was before time "0".
To avoid that, there is presently no other solution than to not use the negative shift.

Re: Problem with negative shift
Fix: Keep positive shift, but change fixture order so it’s backwards
