Hi,
I have extra objects in my 3d viewer i cant delete.
I may have had some cans duplicated at some point but then deleted them but they still show in the 3d viewer.
Any ideas on how to remove them as they are not in the fixtures list.
thanks

Re: Extra fixtures in 3d view
Your fixtures are not duplicated, but cloned.
Duplicated fixtures are on different addresses, cloned fixtures are on the same address and are indicated by the small number in the bottom right of the fixture (see yours currently says "4")
Right click your fixture, go to "clone fixture" and enter the number as 0

Amazing thanks thats what it was!
One quick question, why would you Clone? is it for the 3d view? is there another benefit to cloning a fixture?
thanks

Really it is only for 3D View yes. It doesn't change anything while programming. "Cloning" in this software just means having multiple fixtures on the same address. It's sometimes useful when building a rig obviously if you're limited on address space, or just want to simplify control. It's common with conventional lighting fixtures (ie. tungsten bulb fixtures on dimmers), such as older theatre rigs and house lights.
