I've had my Sweetlight remote for just a week and have just managed to upload some scenes to the box today and get it working on its own but then I lost the flashing green PClink light. When I try to upload now, the panel shows 'bad weekday 0 bad month 2000'. I've tried updating the clock but nothing changes. In the 'date and time trigger' box it sometimes shows 1970 / 01 / 01. The ControlBoard shows that its found the Remote box but I can't get it to work. I've tried unplugging / plugging back in, restarting the software etc but no joy. I've also noticed that the IR data light no longer flashes when I press the remote.
Is there a reset facility for the box? How can I re-establish my connection with the Sweetlight Remote box?

Lose PC link, after stand-alone data uploading [fixed]
Re: Lost my PC link
Normal when "stand-alone" screen is open.then I lost the flashing green PClink light
Normal with a new product (we do not set the clock in factory).the panel shows 'bad weekday 0 bad month 2000'
This is not normal.I've tried updating the clock but nothing changes
That is correct, but this is not a problem to set another date.In the 'date and time trigger' box it sometimes shows 1970 / 01 / 01

Did you use this interface with your Mac without such problems before ?
What is your software version ?
Are these problems coming because of first data upload try ?
Can you send us your lightshow ?

Re: Lost my PC link
I have the unit working properly with my Macbook and had successfully uploaded three scenes. The fourth scene I couldn't upload and when I tried that's when I started having problems and couldn't get any of the scenes to play. Software version is V 6.24.
The scenes I'm working with are really simple fade in and out patterns to create a pulsing glow in a building at night with a single light source. I've tried to attach the document but I get a message saying that .sce files are not allowed. The 'bad date' message came after I had previously set the time from my laptop.

Re: Lost my PC link
We made some uploads with the 5 existing scenes of your lightshow, with a MacBook computer.
We found no problem.

Re: Lost my PC link
So the files I'm using are OK. But I still have no connection between my laptop and the Sweetlight Remote. I also get no response from the remote control in stand alone mode. I can only guess its a hardware issue with the unit. What do you suggest I do next?
I've added a crash report for info.

Re: Lost my PC link
OK I've loaded the software onto my Mac mini and plugged in the Sweetlight Remote. I get the blue light on but no flashing green light and can't upload anything to the unit. The Programme also crashed the first time I opened it.
I will have to return the Sweetlight Remote unit to the retailer for repair or replacement.
