Quick links for groups of fixtures [fixed]
In the older versions, there was a feature to assign a letter to groups of fixtures during the fixture setup process. This enabled you to be able to control the entire group during programming. I don't see that feature in the newest version. Am I just overlooking it, or is that not available in the newest version.
Re: Quick Links for Groups of Fixtures
No it is there. Its just done differently.
If you select your lights in 2D view within the Editor screen. (to select multiple fixtures hold ctrl and then select the fixtures or just drag a 'net' around the fixtures)
go to the tab "groups" (half way down the screen) then right click in the group section and press "add new group" name the group and select the group key. Then press "validate".
Make sure the check box "grouped actions" is checked in the bottom right corner.
This new way of doing groups makes the groups much more flixible and you can edit them "as you go" as opposed to being set up when defining the fixture as they were before.
Hope this makes sense.

Re: Quick Links for Groups of Fixtures
Thanks so much for the help. That worked perfectly and is actually much more flexible to do it then rather than in fixture setup.

No worries. Shout if anything else is unclear.
