Gifs for pixels [fixed]

Hi, I've been trying to figure out how to get gif files into showxpress and have seen this reply from support:
If you put your new GIF files in the folder "../YourSoftware/TheLightingController/pixels_gif_files/", you should be able to use them in Pixels.

But for the life of me I can't find that folder. After "pixels" I only have a folder for projects. No "_gif_files" So please if anyone could shed some light on where I'm going wrong it would be very much appreciated.

The folder where is your software, and not the folder where is the lightshow.

I am not able to get the GIF to load in the software. I found the correct folder (under applications/software folder name/TheLightingController/etc....). I even tried to put 48x48_filename.gif format to see if that mattered. No matter what I do, I cannot get the custom GIF to show up in the software.

Just curious, what is the specific format(s) that are acceptable for the software?

[Niffo]

1-8 bits (animated) gif with standard encoding (ie. like does Gimp) will work.
Exotic gif encoded will not work.
