Hardware control? No thanks!! What a product!

I am new to DMX lighting control and am setting up a new installation from scratch in a 300 seater church. I started grappling with a hardware controller then found ShowXpress - what a find! I'm at the very early stages of learning the software but am getting great results in a much more intuitive way than with hardware.

I was absolutely gob-smacked when my early scenes displayed in the 3D window for the first time.

A Chauvet Xpress-512 just came in the mail and I'm looking forward to getting great results when my fixtures arrive. I'm looking forward to designing my scenes at home on my Mac then exporting to the Church PC. I'm planning to trigger the scenes from Ableton along with the songs via MIDI - the 3D preview is fantastic.

Kudos to the developers!
