If you know how to reproduce this crash, please post your lightshow and tell us how to reproduce.
Please confirm also you are using Windows, and tell us the Windows version.

Window 8.1 and if I knew how to reproduce the crash, which it just did again 30 minutes ago, I would be the first to tell you. And if I could reproduce a crash at a whim I could finally prove how Macro updates do not stay current with the save. A crash always reverts Macro updates to the settings at the previous logout.

Still this was an FYI of my experience, but I am not totally sure what caused it. All I was doing was my normal 80+ gigs a year show, or standard shop programme updates.

V7.1.44 brought a problem with 3DView.
V7.1.45 is supposed to fix that problem: http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... roller.zip
Please try it and let us know.

Of the 4 crashes I have had since going to 7.45, the first 2 were not with 3D up, I was in a show setting. But the next crash was with 3D during the regular updates.
I agree with you Earl, Macro reversionis maddening, but more and more of my show updates I have converted to scenes, instead of fader, or other button modifications, scenes are scenes and updated when I save them.
Fortunately at this last show I only had 3 wash par spots I had 2 update post-crash. But I still have to find a good spot in a non-stop 3.5 hour show to blackout/clear all buttons, select the 2-3 lights per performer, update each Macro, hit the save button, log out and back in of ShowXpress just to be sure the Macro updates. Thank goodness for the uploaded scene in the box...

I have been using the 7.45 prior to all my crashes. Again on an Asus T100 running Win 8.1 with all drivers updated regularly and all Windows updates updated regularly.

I just crashed again, but again all I got for a notification was that Windows was shutting down the programme and searching for a solution. The latest crash I did have 3D up. Now I suppose I could send you my show but the last time I did that you were overwhelmed by the size of it. Do you think my large show size of currently 111 Live Pages, mostly Macro driven, pallet based LTP approach could be the problem?

@PinkLD : In the meantime, can you please go back to 7.1.42 to see if you continue to experience crashes : http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... 7.1.42.zip

OK, I will go back to 7.42. Then I will setup my my Live and child window pages as I would for a show. Then I will export it and email it to you.
