Slow section dimming Core 3x3

I've started to program my Core 3x3 lights with ShowXpress. I'm finding that the lights are slow to dim individual lights. This does not happen with the built in programs. Does anybody know how to correct this?

What do you mean by "slow to dim individual lights?"
