Selection in TimeLine

Post by tomrbland »

Hey,

I have been playing around with the copy and paste function and yes it is much better but occasionally I have a section of a song that has a new scene every half beat and copying this isn't as easy as it could be as I have to select each individual scene holding shift down. Is it possible to have a selection box to select multiple scenes? (like the one on the desktop of a windows machine - click and drag and the box appears)

Just an idea :)

Cheers
Tom

I noticed this as well although I easily get around it.

Hold control, click the first scene, the whilst holding control you then hold shift then click the last scene, it selects all in between. This works a treat when selecting scenes from other timelines as well, works a treat.

Regards,

Lee.

Erm I just tried it and I cant make it work. I press ctrl then my first scene then hold shift then the last scene. this only highlights the 2 scenes I press.

Hmm what am I doing wrong?

EDIT - Scrap that, it works by just holding shift except that it only selects one line at a time. Well its complicated to discribe, it selects the one you click then all the ones on the line you next select. not the ones on the rest of the lines.
