Support,
Yes, I know Ver 7 should be just around the corner but this thought came up today in a conversation so I want to throw it out there.
I know that it's been asked for a total priority button, so long as it is engaged.
And I know I have asked for Presets that when engaged give live feedback to slider adjustments.
But here is another thought concerning Macros and Presets:
When I am using a Macro to call Presets I have to update the Macro.
However if I need to adjust a preset for a given Macro I have to update it again. Which is fine if I am doing a pre-show focus. But mid-show I have to make sure no other presets or buttons are on or my Macro update will include that information.
I was wondering what it would take to have a Macro only update the presets on a same window of Live and ignore data from all other windows?
I would still need Macros that call from multiple Live windows.
In other words I am looking for Macros that call from only their window in Live, and Macros that can call from any page/window of Live.

Re: Macros & Presets
If we right understand, you would like the option: "update Macro with only same window changes, and do not change existing other windows Macro settings" ?
Or may be this option (slightly different): "update Macro with only same tab changes, and do not change existing other tabs/windows Macro settings" ?
If yes, our first impression is this option would be too complex for the users.
But we understand your need to be able to create/modify Macro's on the fly during the lightshow, which makes sence.
After V7 is ready, we will try to think about a "more understandable" option which could be suitable for this.

Re: Macros & Presets
Yes, it seems you got the concept with first option. And thanks.

Re: Macros & Presets
Bottom line:
If you wish to consider it, let me know and we'll hammer out the concept clearly then.
Until I see Ver 7 and what it does/new features, perhaps there will be something about how I wish to use it that will negate this request.

Re: Macros & Presets
V7 does not have new big features, which could be exciting for pro users like you (sorry about this).
V6 is borned in year 2009. Since that date, we regularly added new features.
Nowadays, V6 is of course more powerful, but it becomes less friendly.
V7 has overall same features than V6, but everything has been reorganized in a more friendly way.
Then, we have again an attractive software for new users, the sales remain good, and we can again add new features asked by pro users.

Re: Macros & Presets
Again thank you. I think it is time for me to post some pictures/video of my setup and Live screens. I've changed PC's and included two tablets now.
