or are saying my fixtures need to have "art net" capabilities? and the box is completely useless for what I'm trying to do?

Re: Artnet

This artnet device has it's own address.

Say I addressed it to 10.1.0.1.

Would my fixtures be any ascending number? i.e 10.1.0.2?

Pan/tilt help.

I have four moving heads, and I'm completely new to how moving heads movements even work.

What I don't get is, say I have the lights setup in a small room > I make patterns > but would this pattern work in a bigger venue?

It's not necessarily about the patterns.. I'm not quite sure how to explain ...

Re: Set all lights to become sound active through program?

Haha I feel stupid, cause the scene I was looking for is really basic but I tried to over complicate things!

@Pink LD and tomrbland

Yeah both these examples is what exactly I was looking for, but I just made it harder than it should be.

I like the generator effect too, I gotta learn how to do ...

Re: Set all lights to become sound active through program?

Sorry for not being clear, I'm pretty new to the lighting scene (my main job is being the DJ, but I got into the process of dmx lighting because of experience, and is really fun to mess around with!)

I haven't played with the demo show since I just wanted to go straight to programing lights.

The ...

Re: Set all lights to become sound active through program?

The lights I'm using is Blizzard Pucks. I suppose it falls under RGB.

Just the main thing I'm trying to do is give uplighting in a room with/without it blacking out the room. So far I've just came up with it fading in and out, but I don't know if it seems like the more appropriate way to do it.

In ...

Re: Set all lights to become sound active through program?

Thanks for the information Pink LD.

Just to clear this up since I'm a bit lost, and I'm not at home to try this yet.

So for that scene would it be an individual color, and would this be automatic? Maybe when I try this in person I'd understand more. Sorry I'm really new to this =[
