So... i've advanced. Managed to install v8 on windows 8.1 (where my V7.1 is installed). I managed to open it and I see that v8 recognizes v7 lightshow. (I had to rename the TheLightingShow folder of v7 to 'OLD' in order for v8 to start up). HOWEVER, the v8 will crash upon loading when I load my v7 ...

[Edited] Actually, I think I'm taking the problem on the wrong way around. I should be able to transfer my lightshows onto the Rack 1024 with V7, correct?

Then once this is done, I can safely update to windows 10, then run V8, then v9 and make the necessary adjustements if needed in the light ...

Any idea how I can get the v8 ?

Hi, I am using a PC on Windows 8.1 that has Sweetlight V7.1 installed and a lightshow on it (called default).

I want to export the V7.1 lightshow to import in on a Windows 10 PC to then push it to the Rack 1024. I am facing two issues :
