Re: Wired IR receiver
Thanks for the link but I was hoping to find a unit designed to be panel mounted so I could fit it to a ceiling. Is there a manufacturer recommendation?

Wired IR receiver
Can anyone recommend a wired IR receiver to use with the Sweetlight Remote? I bought the pro-signal unit from Farnell but it won't work. The Sweetlight Remote is in an enclosure and I need to be able to operate it using the remote control supplied and the 3.5 jack should allow for this if I can find ...

Re: Control board crashes [moved]
I now have a new Sweetlight Remote and its working fine with no crashes. I can only assume it was a hardware issue that has been solved with the replacement unit.

Re: Control board crashes
I tried everything suggested to me without success and eventually returned the unit to my supplier, suspecting a fault with the hardware. The replacement arrived a couple of days ago and I haven't had a chance to test it yet! Fingers crossed.

Re: Lost my PC link
OK I've loaded the software onto my Mac mini and plugged in the Sweetlight Remote. I get the blue light on but no flashing green light and can't upload anything to the unit. The Programme also crashed the first time I opened it.

Re: Lost my PC link
So the files I'm using are OK. But I still have no connection between my laptop and the Sweetlight Remote. I also get no response from the remote control in stand alone mode. I can only guess its a hardware issue with the unit. What do you suggest I do next?

Re: Control board crashes
Software V 6.24 for Mac and and I'm using it with Sweetlight Remote unit. I have started another thread under the Sweetlight Remote section as I'm not sure whether its the unit or the software.

Re: Lost my PC link
I have the unit working properly with my Macbook and had successfully uploaded three scenes. The fourth scene I couldn't upload and when I tried that's when I started having problems and couldn't get any of the scenes to play. Software version is V 6.24.
