I'm having the same issue. I think the problem is coming from VDJ. I haven't updated Showxpress in a few years. VDJ has been updated whenever there is an update. I'm not sure if the problem has started with the latest update or the previous update.

Does the fixture(s) have a speed control channel? Is it possible that those channels are active in your steps scene?

I love the different camera angles and camera movements. You have just the right amount to keep the show visually entertaining (besides the light show).

Can you post a link to the interfaces you are asking about?

You can also set up Pads (buttons) in VDJ to trigger buttons in Quick Dmx without having to leave VDJ.

Are you using 2 decks in VDJ? I had a problem where changing between songs the beats would stop showing up in Showxpress, using 2 decks. I used Wireshark to verify that VDJ wasn't sending the beat signal and it wasn't Showxpress not receiving a signal. Switching to a single deck worked to fix the ...

Have you tried the Pads? Does Showxpress respond?

maybe try reinstalling Bonjour???

Have you tried Pads (in VDJ) Buttons? Does Showxpress receive the button press from VDJ?

In VDJ, do you have the os2l option set to "Yes" and the os2lDirectIp blank?
In Showxpress, have Virtual DJ enabled, with the port 7350?
