Re: How to chase media files
I get that the software is "basically a lighting controller", but the programs incredible versatility is one of it's most outstanding features. Wouldn't it be possible to implement a relatively simple work around within the media property box where the operator would enter the duration of the clip ...

Re: How to chase media files
pogjack - Late last night I found your earlier posting for the same thing.
While I understand the explanation, I don't understand why a simple variable couldn't be added to the media properties window allowing the user to assign a time for the media since the player cant tell. This would seem to be ...

How to chase media files
I am trying to run video files in an continuous loop upon trigger. If I put the media files into a timeline all works great, except you can only have a single time line going and my media timeline has a different timing then my lighting timeline. So it dawned on my that I could set up a trigger page ...

Re: [MacOS] Video playback at 5x speed
Excellent suggestion and for some reason on the mac (which is not the computer I am using for the live controller) .mov works fine, but on the PC (which is where I am using the controller) I have the speed issue. I ended up switching file formats to .mpg2 and that seemed to do the trick.
Thanks for ...

Video playback at 5x speed [closed]
OK, I don't know how fast the playback is, but it is significantly above normal speed.
I have a .mov file that plays just fine in a quicktime player, but when I run it off of the timeline it plays super fast. Whats up with that?
Thanks.

Mini-DIN connector for external triggering [fixed]
My first question is if this is an input trigger or an output trigger? Just to be clear what I mean by that, I want an output trigger which would allow me to specify a trigger point in a scene and have a specific port close or open to trigger an external devise.
If this can be used as an output ...

Re: Feature Request: multiple video files at the same time
This is very cool!
Just to be clear, if I produce a video clip that is 4092 x 768, the player will play that clip?
If that is the case then I am golden!
For anyone else considering this, the manufacturer of the video wall controller indicates that this video card will work :

Thanks for the quick reply!
So plan B requires that I ask a follow up question. I found a cost effective video wall controller that will allow me to take non-standard sized video (which can easily be created with Adobe Premiere) and split it into multiple screens (up to 4 with a single devise ...

Feature Request: multiple video files at the same time
I don't know if this could be done, but it would be something I would take advantage of immediately:
I would love to be able to have multiple video files running at the same time. I would then output each to a different monitor and coordinate my lighting based on the video content. This would be a ...
