The Lighting Controller

We build a system for a client with the 512 remote. Now we need the external IR sensor to bridge 30m to the remote.
We tested the SFH 5110-36 in any configurations, but i don´t work. Are there any tricks to get it started??

We tested with the following components viewtopic.php?f=19&t=628, and it works with us.
But we do not guaranty it will work with 30m from the IR sensor to the interface.
