The Lighting Controller Classic

I have an old laptop that is at the end of its life. I am still running Showexpress Version 6 and I am wondering if there is any way to upgrade scenes from Version 6 version 9. When I spoke to Chauvet Tech Support last year they said upgrading from 6 to 7 to 8.... would convert the scenes but now they are saying that it wont.

Has anyone had any luck upgrading from one version to the next? I really do not want to start over with scenes unless I have to.

There are 15 years between these two software versions.

Upgrading from V6 to V7, then from V7 to V8, and then from V8 to V9 at the time each new version was released was technically possible.
However, attempting to do so now is almost impossible.

Rebuilding the entire lightshow from scratch is the simplest solution.
