Feature request - window memory

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I couldn't find a "feature request" section of the forum.

I would like for Setup to remember the placement of the 'DMX addressing setting' window. When I have to add a big group of fixtures to add (which doesn't happen often, but a couple times this year already) I have to continuously move the window so I can see the other fixtures already set. Here is a video showing what I mean @ http://dj3pm.com/movies/lights/Setup_wi ... sition.mov

Also, can that same window have an auto-fill option for the text? In this same situation, I would name the fixtures all something similar with just a single variation like "uplight 1" and "uplight 2". When I go to type "u" it could suggest "uplight".

Adding a new fixture moves Editor window

Also at same time, I noticed that when adding multiple fixtures the Editor window scrolls back. This is kind of annoying when adding multiple fixtures; you can't see what the fixture name or channel was. I uploaded a video showing this @ http://dj3pm.com/movies/lights/Editor_jumping.mov

Watching your videos perhaps a different way of assigning fixtures would be useful - being able to duplicate fixtures that aren't the last fixture in the addresses? Would that make life easier? Personally I would like to be able to tell the software that I want to assign 10 fixtures of this sort, starting at channel 10; then I don't have to click duplicate etc. Then you won't have to add a new fixture and type in its name again and again - you can just add 10 of your puck3s starting at DMX 1 and it would name them for you and assign their DMX addresses.

(In another companies software I click to assign a fixture then type 10@1-10 this means 10 of this fixture starting at dmx address 10 on universe 1. It's a very fast way of assigning fixtures)

Would a system like that make life easier for you?

Sorry, reading back my post I realise that it is a bit confusing. If it doesn't make sense please shout! It's been a long day.... :)

Makes sense and would help. I was thinking something like that as it kept trying to assign new fixtures crazy DMX addresses in the 500's rather than sequential. Cheers!

"function 'Duplicate' should be available not only for the last dmx address fixture"
and
"keep same channels on screen, after change in Setup"
are added in the TODO list.
