Theatre lighting?

I work mostly in theatres.
I'd like to have regular (generic) PC, profile and ACP types.
Since different makes render about the same results these could be made generic.
A smash would be to add colours separately for each. Apart form that usually only beam with is (non-dmx) adjustable.
If these could be added it would truly become a all-round package...

Do you mean to say:

"Would it be possible to have fresnel, profile and PC style fixtures in 3D view?"

If I have understood your meaning wrong then please correct me.

Als it would be handy to have 2d symbols in Editor above the faders?
makes it easy for complex setups.

And in wet dreams i see a colour select list according to the Lee Std?
That would make your package truly fully theatre-ready.
I get a lot of interest form people but since these features are missing they tend to go other packages.

PC, Fresnels: should have beam width, 500w, 1000w or 2kw.
Fresnels are more fuzzy on the edge.
PC's have also focus, ie. sharp to fuzzy edges.

Grts again...

Sorry but we do not understand your requirement.
Are you looking for a personality file (this section is for personality files requirements) ?
Or are you looking for new 3D casing for the fixtures in 3DView ?

Actually both...
It's all about making this package really compatible with theatre...
ideally also ACP type lights would be welcome.
The software itself is quite ok for these purposes.
Tnx.

The are the most commonly used types: Basically all major brands have similar specd luminaires in 500, 1000 and 2000watt versions
Afa colours: http://www.mainstage.com/Files/LeeColorChartNbr.htm
Lee and Rosco are the two suppliers which are used all over. their number system is basically the same.
In everyday theatre colours up to 208 are regularly used. If these were availble to select as a fixture colour Sweetlight could bec\ma serious player in theatre an installed architectural lighting, imho.

On the Lee standard, is there a RGB conversion. For instance, Red would be 255 0 0?
