Copy of Unassigned Channels Pasting DMX Value of "2" [fixed]

Post by dkumpula »

Hi Folks!

I noticed a few versions ago a problem with copying and pasting ranges in Editor. In short, when a range of channels is chosen and copied, the paste result associated with disabled channels in the range being copied paste to the destination as the value "2". Ideally, an unassigned copied channel should not paste anything so if the corresponding pasted channel was disabled previously, it should leave it alone. If the pasted channel previously had a value in it, I believe it should paste as the value "0".

I have forgotten what ShowXpress did before, but it may have just pasted the value of zero whenever copying from a disabled channel. If so, this old approach is still still better than a "2" which several of my devices react differently to than the value "0".

Also while I'm at it, I don't see that the changes for 6.27 Beta 1 have been listed on the forum yet. (The new iPod / Android connectivity is an AWESOME addition and working well on my end!) Were there any other enhancements or fixes in 6.27 Beta that we should be aware of?

Keep up the great work!
