The manual is wrong on this fixture and therefore so is the profile, specifically the last channel. If you want, I can upload mine but let me know where to send it.

Where did you find a profile for the Batten Tri?

I don't understand why correct profiles are not ALWAYS provided (nor readily locatable via advanced Internet searches) by Chauvet, at least on PRO fixtures as this? I know it's of some importance because being brand-spanking-new to DMX lighting, I wasted a lot of time troubleshooting down the wrong path because I relied upon an incorrect manual and/or wrong Chauvet-provided profile.

Brand newbie + 15 fixtures via home delivery + 3 wrong manuals/profiles = more than a few wasted hours. :|

Why not have every profile linked for download under the "Resources" tab of each product page? If you need it & on the road w/ limited access & mental resolve, you'd know it would always be there. Does everyone usually write their own, swap by mail, or something else I've neglected to comprehend as a beginner? Nonetheless, the process did accelerate the learning curve & hardly classify myself that now.

I found it in the software. Honestly, it is not them. Chauvet's manual is wrong.

What exactly is wrong about the manual?

On 10-channel mode, the blocks are not the same as the manual. The manual does not contain the DMX values for Block 4. I figured them out, though.

Here is what I found them to be for my programmed scenes:

Block 1: 21
Block 2: 41
Block 3: 61
Block 4: 81
Block 1&2: 100
Block 1&3: 120
Block 1&4: 143
Block 2&3: 161
Block 2&4: 180
Block 3&4: 200

I would have to fire them up to give you the exact DMX ranges.

Kahilzinger,

I checked the fixture and you are correct. The manual will need to be modified. Here are the correct values:

Channel 10 - Block
000-019=Block 1,2,3,4
020-039=Block 1
040-059=Block 2
060-079=Block 3
080-099=Block 4
100-119=Block 1,2
120-139=Block 1,3
140-159=Block 1,4
150-179=Block 2,3
180-199=Block 2,4
200-219=Block 3,4
220-239=No Function
240-255=Full on

Thanks for catching this! I will have the manual and SX profile updated once everyone returns from the InfoComm show.
Thanks for your support!
