60W LED Mini Beam Stage Light

Hi all,

We recently purchased some cheap LED movers on ebay for a very low budget youth production.

I have tried creating a new fixture with the following details but even after doing so, I cannot get the light to respond to ANY dmx input in 13ch mode. Have not yet tried 11ch mode.
The lights work fine in test function but as soon as DMX is send the light is unresponsive.

Alleged channel programming

1 - pan
2 - pan fine
3 - tilt
4 - tilt fine
5 - XY motor speed
6 - Dimmer
7 - Strobe
8 - Red dimmer
9 - Green dimmer
10 - Blue dimmer
11 - White dimmer
12 - auto run
13 - reset


11ch mode is supposedly

1 - pan
2 - pan fine
3 - tilt
4 - tilt fine
5 - XY motor speed
6 - Dimmer
7 - Strobe
8 - Red dimmer
9 - Green dimmer
10 - Blue dimmer
11 - White dimmer


Has anyone got a similar fixtire they can share a profile for or am I on struggle street here?

Hardware: Chauvet xpress512 plus
Software: showxpress latest release on macos

I found an identical looking fixture on amazon which had this available.

I tried programming as 11ch but no go still. Lights work fine on auto or sound activated
