Flickering light

I am using ShowExpress and it has recently begun to flicker in various lights. I was wondering if there is a software update or if anyone can let me know what to do to stop the flickering? 
It was working well before, and now there is some lights flickering.
This does not sound like a software problem.
There are so many possible hardware causes: usb power, usb cable, dmx line, ...
