Hello Sweetlight,

I keep having problems with using multiple Net512 with DMX and Artnet.

As far as i know, 1 x Net 512 interface supports 512 DMX channels & 512 Artnet channels.
So with 3 interfaces i should have 1536 DMX channels 1536 Artnet channels (devided on 6 universes)

But how I set this up in the software? I have given every Net512 a static ip. (192.168.1.35 / 192.168.1.45 / 192.168.1.55).
When i turn on 1 interface, sweetlight recognizes 2 interfaces, when i turn on 3 interfaces, it recognizes 6 interfaces.


- But how do i know which universe is which output? I see no numbers.
- When i have these settings, Arnet works, but DMX aint.

What am i doing wrong?

If we right understand, you have 3 interfaces Net512, and the software sees 6 interfaces !

Could you please connect each interface one by one (the others must be not connected), and tell us the MAC address of each interface ?
Alternatively, you can PM us the serial numbers and we will find the MAC addresses.

That is correct. I thought that was normal?
I thought that 1 DMX output is 1 interface and the Artnet output is the other interface? But apparently not?

I shall provide the MAC adresses a.s.a.p., I might have changed them in the Net512 software, is that a problem?

This is not normal.
The software is supposed to see only 3 interfaces.
We suspect there is a problem of MAC addresses.

I connected them 1 by 1, this is the result.

Interface 1 (192.168.1.35) has MAC Address: 70-b3-d5-0b-90-09

Interface 2 (192.168.1.45) has MAC Address: 70-b3-d5-0b-00-8A

Interface 3 (192.168.1.55) has MAC Address: 70-b3-d5-0b-00-01

Can you please send us by PM the serial numbers of these interfaces ?

Can you please make the test with two interfaces together (total 3 tests), and tell us if the software sees 2 or 4 interfaces ?

Please tell us also if the dmx output is running with all interfaces (sending value = 0 for all dmx channels).

You mean with autodetect only?

Yes, please press "Autodetect interfaces" and tell us how many interfaces are found.
