V9 - Samwise309 Feedback

Support,
I've only had a short bit of playtime with V9 so far. User TimH brought up a lot of good initial points about the software;
3D Improvements are great
Multi pan/tilt fixtures and graphics are great
The Create lightshow function is a really neat thing for new users/getting the workflow started
And all the other pros/cons he mentioned are solid points.
The initial bugs I found are:
Certain color and glass gobos create a big frame of color around them - https://youtu.be/qwfndHDZ-E0
In generator 2D, clicking the blank area between fixtures makes a white flash and doesn't de-select your fixtures, like it does in steps. In fact, a bunch of weird things happen between 2D and 3D selection. If you start a new scene and click on a single fixture, it may or may not select the same fixtures from the previous selection. At other times, it deselects the one you click and keeps everything else selected. It's a bit hard to explain, I tried to demonstrate here - https://youtu.be/6tDbqz3QKdU
Here are some feature requests I have:
-The 'randomize' fixture order button for generator. This would save a lot of time when using a big rig and wanting to randomize your effects.
-I would also LOVE to see something implemented down the road where you can click and draw a path around your 2D window, and the fixture order will reflect your mouse path.
-In Edit Steps mode, make channels active and not active between steps. This would make any wipe effect much easier to make.
-For the preset slider function on a step scene; If you assign a button trigger, hitting that button will circulate through the steps instead of turning the current step on and off.
-The fan pan/tilt offset option is pretty neat. I would much rather see that implemented however in STEPS for creating static positions. Would like to see an added dialogue box where you can select the amount of fan for your selected fixtures and that way, making some nice clean positions would be much quicker than individually moving them into a fan position. As an added bonus, attach a "wings" option to the fan dialogue so that you can fan in groups instead of the entire rig.
I will be eagerly testing and adding more feedback as I go!
