There is almost 400ms delay between i press a "flash button" on my midi device and the moment my fixture lights up. With a Chamsys PCwing panel controlling the same fixture, i don't have this problem. So it has something to do with the software or the DMX512 interface of sweetlight.
When i click on my midi device, the button on my screen is immediately pressed, so i guess the delay is in the moment between the software recognizes the press and the moment the right DMX signal is sent to the fixture.
Can i change this somewhere or is this high delay a bug?

@ other people using midi, can you please tell us about your experience with the delay from midi key press, up to scene playing ?
(of course with the most recent software version)

Rectification.
The button immediatly pressed means it is not a midi problem.
This means, if you press the button with the mouse, the delay is same (?) Can you please confirm this ?

Can you try with some kind of midi monitor program if there is any problem with the data coming in? Is it just on midi command or several hundreds because it sends a signal as long as youre pressing? Or some kind of loop you acidentally built in signal flow?
As soon as I get my midi device running in my mapping software there is no recognizeable delay at all.
