BPM sluggish?

hey guys, is the BPM based on processing speed of computer. I find that sometimes it's right on time with the beat, and other times it is sluggish. I have a very fast computer. Thank you
The BPM is not accurate at all, it just reacts to loud sounds, it's not detecting the BPM.
It should detect the BPM and let the lights move to this BPM value, not just reacting to loud sound.
