no merge function in version 8?

there is an insert function, but i can not find a merge button.

You can merge scenes in the timeline in tab "StandAlone".
And then use the function "Save as Steps scene".

i see how you have moved these functions to standalone in 8 including generating pixels scenes. Thanks. I'll keep trying with 8, i'm sure i will be a lot less frustrated with the changes in time. Thank you for your patience support. I am amazed with 8 and can see what you are trying to do. I am, as always, a huge fan of your software. My main concerns have been solved. Have you thought about color wheel fixtures in pixels? patch the wheel and pick a color.
