It already is;
Go to the settings in the live tab, you should see a field where you can assign midi faders to the master faders. There you can also set a midi button to the pause button.

ah ok cool. Is that in Version 7? Or just 8?

It's in V8 for sure, I'm not sure with V7 since I didn't use a midi controller back then yet.
