The Lighting Controller

I am using a Color Spot 250 AT light, connected through a chauvet xpress 512 plus dongle to the computer. When I use the channels in the editor, most of them don't match up with the light. The tilt works, but the pan doesn't and many other channels are just not working as they should.
What can I do to fix this?

It has been made some years ago, following its manual. Please note that:
- this fixture might have more than one mode (M1, M2, M3, ...)of channels setting (with/without pan&tilt fine for instance)
- we do not enter the gobos (not supplied by the manufacturer)
- sometimes, the manufacturer makes a new release with modified channels and keeps the same name for the fixture (we see that oftenly with some other manufacturers)
So the major part of the channels should be ok, and some of them might have to be adjusted in application Setup. The gobos have also to be entered in application Setup.

Ok, I switched it to mode 3 and everything seems to work fine, but the regular pan still does not work. Is there anything else that might be a problem?

I have used the 250 AT's in mode 3 with the software and I don't think I had any problems. What sort of issue are you having with the Pan? Is it simply that it doesn't do anything?

Correct, it does absolutely nothing.

Do you get any response out of any other prospots?

Out of interest what Channel are you starting at with the fixture?

I'm just trying to track down if the problem is in the software or the fixture.

I tried it with another ColorSpot 250 AT and the same thing happened, the pan did not work through the software. I am starting with channel 1.

Do you see the values of the channel moving, in the ControlBoard -> dmx levels bargraph ?

Sorry for the really obvious question, but it hasn't been asked yet. Are you using the very latest software? V6.25

Actually no, there are no values visible in the dmx bargraph for the pan. I have the latest software from the website, which is is 6.24 beta, I don't see a 6.25 version.
