hello
im wondering about this controller. it was recommended by an online store. im gettin the chauvet q-spot 260s(6) and will hopefully find some highend dataflashes(af-1000s)(6)

its a simple lightshow but i believe its all i need for this small nightclub being built.

is the chauvet showexpress midi capable? am i able to use a midi controller?
can i program the showexpress to do the same thing that the highend controller does with the high end af-1000s? theres so many different features that the highend controller does. so im wondering will show express do all of this ? and is it hard to program ?

also since the q spots are new. will the show xpress see the lighting fixture ?

You can use a midi controller to trigger light scenes, via midi notes.
The software can control any dmx fixture. If you tell us the link to get the af-1000s dmx manual, we will do the personality file for you.
The Q spot 260 is in the software personality files bank.

awesome! thats what i wanted to hear. i have the apc 40 and it is not being used period. so i figured it would look cool in the dj booth and serve a purpose LOL.
is it hard to assign the midi functions ?

and u said something about the af-1000 manual. so that means it is possible to do program the af-1000s liek the controller itself?

and how much does that cost ?

Why don't you download the software and try it? The software is free so that you can be sure you like it before you buy the hardware. http://www.sweetlight-controller.com/en ... nload.html

You can then shout if you have any difficulties (please consult the manual first though)
