Audio plays on timeline regardless of its property settings

Hello Gang,

happy New Year! (close Enough!)

So here is the problem i'm having. I use timelines to run my band's lights and projections. I create the video file to be projected, it has embedded audio to use for light cues while adding light scenes to the timeline. I then add all the necessary light scenes etc.. to the timeline and save it. Now certain videos I want to hear the audio and others I don't, sometimes within the same timeline. So I assumed I could set the clip's properties to "no audio" or set the volume in the properties to "0" neither seem to work and the audio plays regardless ...

anyone know why this is happening? the easy solution is to mute the computer's audio channel on our mixing board...BUT, we do need to hear some of the clips....

I'm hoping there is an easy solution as I really don't want to have to re-output 28 videos without sound and then replace them all in the timelines....tedious!

Thanks for any insight!

Regards,
Anthony

In the window "Properties" of the media file:
- for each video file, you can check or not the option "No sound".
- for each video and sound file, you can adjust the slider "Volume".

Yes, and neither, checking the "no sound" check box or setting the volume fader all the way down work...All clips still play audio... BUG in ver 7 software??\

tried to sate that in my original post, i guess i was unclear...

It works here.
If you are able to reproduce this problem with a small video file, please email us the lightshow with the small video file.

can i use dropbox to send you the file?.....my video files aren't "small" enough to email. They are HD files that project onto a 12' screen.
