DMX addressing of 1 not working with MinSpot? [fixed]

I have a Chauvet MinSpot addressed at DMX channel 1. With the addressing set to 1 in the Xpress software, when I move the slider for 1 the "X" (pan) doesn't do anything. If I re-address the light and software to start at 2, it works just fine... any idea why this might be?

Nevermind.... I had accidentally added dmx 1 as a dmx input so of course the software wasn't outputting channel 1

For info, the "dmx levels" bargraph shows a different color for "dmx input patched" channels.
