Is it possible to get data2 on & data2 off setting for the Drum/BPM under Live -> Setting -> Midi shortcuts.
They could follow the 4 blinking lamps, so that:
lamp 1 & 3 = data2 on
lamp 2 & 4 = data2 off

That would make our buttons alternate between on/off or red/green... in the correct BPM and not some fixed tempo by AKAI

When software is loaded, could you please send all midi data2 off for all mapped buttons, so that our launchpad buttons will light up in off possition.

This is not "clean" to force something, at software load.
But, in current version, the software sends "data off" for all buttons on, at software quit.

Transmitting an "All notes off" , "panic" or "Data off" message at launch would also be welcome in the event of a crash in my opinion...
