Can you add an "Update Fixture Library" option in the software menu.

We already know how to create fixtures and download fixtures from your website, but this really isn't the best solution.

The best solution is to have an option in the menu context that allows you to download the latest fixture updates automatically. Not only would this download the fixture profile, but it would also include the fixture 2D image & 3D images.

The process should be less manual and more automated. If this feature already exists, then I am not aware of it. It is definitely not in the user manual.

The personality files are stored in the software.
Under Windows, the software is stored in a specific system folder called "Program Files".
And Windows does not easily allow a software to write files in this folder.

Isn't that what C:\Users\*********\TheLightingController\ directory is for? Or C:\ProgramData\ for that matter.

The lightshows are stored in the "home directory".
