Hi,
don't know what it is but Software is running worse.
I'm working on a lightshow - Editor goto Live goto 3D View etc. like it's usual to work with.
Suddenly copy and paste via Keyboard won't work.
Close Software (SW) open again - working again.
Next problem:
Gone back to SW Version 7.1.42 and tested the following:
Opened a timeline and started it - stoped it with the space button of the keyboard - gone to buttons - (here are 3 Button controlled via Keyboard configured as FLASH) hit those buttons and it's working - shifted the 3D window - and it stoped working - gone back to the timeline - started it with space button of Keyboard - stoped it immediately - and 3DView works again with the buttons until you shift it again.
Clicking on another scene button got it also back to work.
If I shift the 3D View window during using those 3 buttons the buttons will freeze!
It seems that the problem only appears whith buttons configured as "FLASH".
Hope I've explained it comprehensible.
Everything checked with 7.1.42 and 7.1.54. Fault is reproducible.

Means a problem with the key "ctrl".

Could you please post an easy lightshow, and tell us how to reproduce the problem with it ?

We are however not able to reproduce the problem.
Just a remark: when you click in the 3DView window, it is normal to lose the keyboard control in Live.

Yes, when 3D view is clicked it is active and you have no keyboard control of Live. This also happens if you have Editor up. Keyboard shortcuts for Editor only work in Editor. You have to click back to Live for Live keyboard shortcuts.

This makes it very interesting during a Live show when I need to edit something but still need Live keyboard shortcuts. You have to time everything out.

I can reproduce the problem any time you want!
It is reproducible.
I note it - next time we see at "Highlite's Dealer Day" we'll take a look.

It's like you wrote: if 3D View is used (shifting or twisting) Button will freeze and keyboard control is lost.
Checked it also on an old machine with Version 6.34.
Same problem.
This is not really nice - is it possible to modify?

We can not change this.
3DView is a separate program. As soon as it takes the focus (when you click in the window), the keyboard is linked to that window.
This is an OS rule.

OK noted. I've noticed that behaviour coincidental.
Hope you'll find the bug in Editor/2D View Fixtures selecting (ctrl key of keyboard)

Yes I'm working on a timeline when copy/paste stoped working in timeline.
