Oddlly enough, this happens with my 3 ACME Dynamos.
I write a scene which places them in an exact spot, insert them into timline in a song then when I play the song again the position of the scanners are not what was programmed. I did fiddle around with getting the reverse pan/ tilt which only made matterrs worse. I now just do each scanner seperately which sometimes works, othertimes the fault above still happens.
I thought I was alone on this one.

Could you please send us the easiest possible lightshow, with one scene, and of course with this problem ?
Another question: it the difference of position small, or is it a big, or is it sometimes big and sometimes small ?

Having a flick through old poasts and I though I would update this.
The above problem was rectified by way of unplugging the lights 'after' I loaded the sweetlight software. Before I would have all my lights on and ready to go then once I loaded sweetlight then my scanners would behave erratic.
So in short,
1. All lights plugged in
2. Load the software
3. Unplug then re plug in my scanners
Never had a problem since, the scanners do what they where programmed to do each and every time.
Odd but it works. I am not privvy to the software code obvioulsy but as an engineer my gut tells me (after huge logistical troubleshooting tests) that this is related to the scene uploaded to the Sweetlight box which I think may be corrupting the dmx signal going into the scanners. I have tried even a simple single par can scene uploaded but the fault remains. If I remove the uploaded scene altogether from the sweetlight box then the fault disappears.

Thank you for this report Lee.
The interfaces are supposed to be shipped with empty stand-alone memory, so this problem should not occur before uploading some data in it.
PS: we never received the lightshow of "gejor".

I apologise, I might not have written it clearly.
My sweetlight was indeed shipped new with no scenes uploaded. I uploaded my own scene into the box as it was a great tool in case perhaps we needed emergency lighting on stage (if laptop failed etc) it was many weeks' after that I bought the ACME Dynamo's and dicovered the problem with them, after many hours troubleshooting I found the only way I could get rid of the problem was to unload the scene from the box 'or' I unplug, then plug back in my Acme Dynamos 'after' the software has been loaded, a very tiny workaround which does the job, the software works as expected afterwards and all is good.
Lets face it, software can be fickle and comparing this small fault to the wealth of options and the way you guys listen to customers,
As a side note, do you know that I have had 2 people in the last month now buy your product based on them coming to my place and seeing what your product can do, I guided them to the forums and even they where surprised at the customer care, quite simply, they went out and bought it ? Says it all !
Cheers,
Lee.

Understood. If one day, we have the chance the have a ACME Dynamo in our hands, we will check this problem.
Thank you for promoting our products. In fact, we are very bad regarding communication and marketing (we prefer the technical side). So, telling your mind of our products is also very important for us.
