Can you tell me if there is any driver that will allow a Quick DMX branded box to work with the Sweetlight Software.

I have just purchased a D512 box which came with Quick DMX branding which was sold as being a sweetlight interface.

When i downloaded the latest software it would not find the interface. I then enquired with the retailer and they said that all Sweetlight D512 boxes are now called Quick DMX but would still work with the software.

Having looked at your website this would not seem to be true. I have downloaded the Quick DMX software and that finds the interface but I was wanting to use the original sweetlight software as this is what I am familiar with. Is there anyway that it can work with sweetlight software and if not can you tell me the differences between Sweetlight and Quick DMX from a software point of view.

What you call the "original" software is the version 6 which is now obsolete.
SweetLight official version is now version 7 (SweetLight web site will be updated asap).

It is not possible to use software and interface with different name.

Hi also i'm interested to know difference between sweetlight and quick dmx software.

I was wrong to buy interface because I thought the D512 was only one model.

All interfaces have either silkscreen or sticker, which shows clearly the brand and model names.

Externally is the same...same color shape only description in title and small sticker can show difference.

Now is too late to come back, i alreary made wrong purchase.
What is difference in softwate between sweetlight and quick dmx?
