interface not detected

Hello, I have an Xpress-512 Plus interface to use with a laptop HP Split 13 x2 with Windows 8 OS and USB 3.0 port.

Work with this interface and this laptop about 3 months until last week amid an event stopped working. I was trying to get working again and I went out an error opening ShowXpress V6 software first .... To download the new version if it was error ShowXpress. The error said:

Nb interfaces = 1
Interface # 1 - Ma: 0 - Mo: 268 492 288 - L: 12

Now do not get the error and I do not detect the laptop interface, simply turn on the blue LED Power laptop but the sound does not just connect a USB device, and try other laptop with USB 2.0 and neither detected . In Windows Device Manager does not appear .... I already despair and can not find the solution , I hope you can help me.

Please try again with another computer with port usb2.0, and without anything connected to the dmx line.

If the interface is still not found, it might be defective.
