When I enter 3D view I can see my fixtures, however how do you get them running for example to change color or position. They just sit there doing nothing. I have set the editor up to step through various scenes but cannot get them working.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Yes I am in the editor and also 3d view the 3d window comes up and shows all the fittings. The par cans are all on showing white beams but will not change color in the editor and the varilights will do nothing.

You can post (or email) a ZIP of your lightshow.
We will check that.

Is it possible you selected wrong fixture in setup? Par cans only display white color in 3d view.

Which version do you have?
In v6.333 you have to select "color changer",
in v7 you have to select in the Dropdown-menu "static color beam" ->in your case "static white beam" seems to be chosen.

A big thanks for everyones reply. I seem to have got it working now, It seems to be dependent on which fittings I am using, but it seems okay now. Many thanks for all the help guys, now the hard bit to program a full show.

Cheers
