Generator "load new project" does not refresh 3DView

When creating scenes in editor and a new scene is loaded, the 3D View refreshes correctly.
However, if I edit a scene in Generator, and then select New Scene, the 3D View does not refresh to no lights, but remembers and holds the last step.
