If we right understood your post (we are not sure about that), our answer is: our software is not able to patch a dmx address to another dmx address.

sorry but that's not what i mean
i mean that i have patch a dimmer on dmx channel 1.
then i have programmed a scene.
then i repatchs my dimmer on dmx channel 25.
but the programme i made is now also working on channel 1 and not on channel 25
my problem is that i have a show whith dimmers of a room the dmx addreses are lockt on that location.
every location, i neat a lamp on some places but every location stand's the lamp on another dmx addres.
if i can patch some dimmers i have made changes also whith that patch on scene's than i am finnischt very fast.
i mean that you can programm whith fixtures and not whith dmx addresses when i patch a dimmer of 10 channel's on dmx addres 100 and i made some scene's
can it also work when i patch it on addres 50.

We understand.
This kind of feature is not available in our software, but it is on the todo list (no forecasted date of availability).

Support,
Did I understand correctly that what you meant was that there is no "DMX Input" (like on Ver.5) for 6.0 yet?

The new interfaces do not have "DMX input" connectors like the BOX or SSA do.

Box and Ssa have a dmx input.
Cable, D512 and Remote do not have dmx input.
Software V5 can manage the dmx input.
First version of software V6 can not manage dmx input. We will add this feature later (no forecasted date).
"dmx patch" (which does not concerns the dmx input) is in the TODO list (no forecasted date).

Question 1: So I can open V5.x's DMX Input and use it alongside V6's Live?
Question 2: Besides the DMX Input feature you are really going to put a "soft-patch" function into V6?
Then I can control any number of "House" fixtures from one fixtures programming and would simplify how I approach festival lighting rigs, theatrical lighting rigs and the fixtures I bring along.
I will reserve my exclamation of, "This program ROCKS!" until that happens. (P.S. The sooner the better so I can take V6 into a show setting...)
Still, I love sitting in a lighting booth, surrounded by huge "House" consoles while I, I am set up with a notebook, couple of USB DMX hubs, a 12x24 wing console and throw the "house" rig around.

The application Dmx_Input is definitely not compatible with software V6.
If "soft patch" means possibility to assign a chosen dmx output for each channel, yes this is in the TODO list. This feature is not very difficult to do, but we have some urgent priorities (like Timeline & multimedia player for Windows and MacOS, and the manuals in English, Spanish, Chinese and French languages, ...) to do before. Please be convinced that we know this is a nice feature. It is too early to give dates for all these jobs.
