The Lighting Controller

what is the zone function used for e.g. 1-4.

When you switch on a scene:
- if there is another scene running in the same zone, it will be automatically switched off
- the other running scenes in other zones will not be affected

Sorry for the ignorance, so if I'm assuming correctly the zones would normally be applied to separate rooms of the one controller ?

I'm just not sure how to utilize the zones as I only have one room.

Also having huge problems getting 4 x hard buttons to recall the first 4 scenes, the IR remote recalls them but the hard buttons wired through the mini din only button 1 recalls scene 1 only all the other buttons do nothing.

Please, post your complete lightshow ; we will check this.

i have all 4 scenes working fine and recalling via IR remote but can only get the first one to work via hard buttons, any ideas without the show would be helpful.

Ok so all sorted thanks guys for your responses and help I used process of elimination and was using the ir remote no worries all four scenes recalling fine so I looked at the din lead wiring of the din outputs (using a moulded flylead) so I thought maybee I had it mirror reversed as the diagram does not state if its looking at the plug or looking behind the plug and what do you know it still didnt recall all the 4 scenes but I did notice that the common was a differen pin than stated so a bit of playing around with bare wires and all is working 100%. I will post correct diagram when at my pc.
