XP SP 3, 32 bit, I have noticed a few things:
1. If I select the Timeline Tab in Live and then go back and select the Button's 1 Tab, Live crashes every time.
2. In the Live menu bar - "Buttons", every catagory under this item has the sub menus greyed out. So:
- Buttons #1 - All items greyed out, can't select anything
- Buttons #2 - All items greyed out, can't select anything
- Button's Window - All items greyed out, can't select anything
- Display - All items greyed out, can't select anything
3. I don't see a way to add a Buttons #2 tab. I still just have Buttons #1 (Main Window) & Buttons #2 (as a seperate window). Not sure if this is an issue though... Thought this was included seeing as how that thread was answered and closed.
I have to set my lights up to test the master sliders. Which will be a few days. I like the work this far though. Thank you!
Live Issues with 6.33 Beta
Re: Live Issues with 6.33 Beta
1. we are not able to reproduce.
This might be specific of your lightshow. Please post it (in a ZIP file).
2. we are not able to reproduce under XP, but we are able to reproduce under MacOS !
This might be specific of the lightshow as well.
3. we need to have access to the submenus of "Buttons#2", in order to show this tab.

Re: Live Issues with 6.33 Beta
I have experienced the same problem and all buttons option greyed out.
The system went back to normal after I opened the Timeline tab, and opened up a timeline.
This procedure appeared to reset the buttons menu options.
My other problem with the master faders is that if I have 5 buttons of scenes for my parcans set for intensity 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% all in fade mode. If I then select 50%, and slide the master fader to +10% and then select the 25% button, the scene intensity increases suddenly and then fades.
I really like the option used for the Master faders - great job.

Re: Live Issues with 6.33 Beta
Yes, going to tab "TimeLine" and then back to tab "Buttons" allow then to use the menu options.
So you still can use the new Button#2 feature, by waiting we fix this problem.
There is effectively a problem when switching between buttons with channels in fade mode.

Re: Live Issues with 6.33 Beta
New "Live" downloaded.
If I open "Buttons Window" and set to any number, as soon as I click on "Buttons#1" or "Buttons#2" the system crashes.
It does not crash if I click on "Timeline".
Whole program must then be restarted.
If I close "Buttons Window" Live remains very stable.
Just to note that these test are on a laptop with XP Pro SP3 and single monitor.

Re: Live Issues with 6.33 Beta
Installed 6.33 beta, and downloaded and installed replacement Live.
Live crashes upon select any button. If I close the buttons window, I can get live to run for a bit.
But, it still seems to crash after a short while.
Testing on Acer aspire laptop, Intel p6100 2.00 ghz with 3.00gb of memory.
Windows 7 home premium
Two screens or one, crashes both ways.
I like the new look, master slider looks promising.

We are still not able to reproduce these crashes.
They might come from your lightshows.
Please post your lightshows (in ZIP file).

Re: Live Issues with 6.33 Beta
Thank you support for the compliment, and for all your hard work!
The show i sent is my base show, from it I make mods for particular shows and venues,
and for which fixtures i am using. I spent considerable time making 3d fairly accurate
for where I usually position fixtures and trussing.... it has helped when making scenes
for movers which i fine tune to the venue.
I love your software, i have compared it to others
and this meets all my needs...
I played just a bit with the master faders, I really like how you implemented that request as well.
Have a great day!
