The Lighting Controller

I'm not sure if this has been submitted as a request previously, but it would be nice to have a show-player window where you can select several timelines to play sequentially. I know you can do this today with the "chase-play" option for the page, but then upcoming timeline isn't preloaded into memory, so there is a delay of several seconds between timelines as the next one loads. It would be nice to either have chase-play pre-load timelines into memory or create another mini-app to do so. Assuming the mini-app route, it would need pause, previous, next and stop buttons as well.

Sorry, but we have no "easy" solution for your requirement.
The media files are effectively not preloaded into memory, which might occur some short lag between two timelines.
Changing to "memory preload" would require to revise completly the current code, which means a huge job.
TimeLine should be considered as an easy and unpretentious tool for "light & media synch" for basic needs, far behind the well known video/sound professional timeline softwares.
