Manual Step Trigger Button

Is there a function in the software that will allow me to manually trigger stepping through a multi-step scene? I'm running live shows for a rock band and scene timing is never a constant thing so I would like to call a multi-step scene for a song and step through it with a button trigger. Thanks in advance for you reply.

This function does not exist.
We suggest you to use TimeLine with "single step" scenes and "pause" tool.

Would the cue list they are thinking about work for you?

Can't wait for it to come out.

I have the same scenario with my shows. I think you could have 2 options.

1 is to assign your multi-step scene to a preset button and scroll through your steps that way. (Personally, I've never used this method)

The 2nd option is the one I use but will not work with your multi-step scene. Create your light show and store it as a macro in live (verse for example) create another show and store as another macro (chorus or solo). Then all you do is trigger the macro at the apropriate point in the song.

Hope this helps.

Is this still planned?

How about a feature request for a manual step button. I've tried several options such as pausing the timeline and manually clicking the preset slider but neither of these options works very well when running a live performance. On a fast moving performance you really need a simple trigger button. Is this something you would consider adding?

I too would like be able to step through a scene with a button, and to be able to trigger that with MIDI.

I use presets that are macro'd. I also use a tablet, wing console and keyboard triggers. This works well for custom song lighting designs. But I work with the same 3 bandscovering about 200 songs, of which I have over 100 custom macro pages to do what I want
However the Floyd tribute act I work is a theatre show and it would be perfect for a cue list and a go button.
