My 3DView is not working???

Not sure why on my laptop using Windows 7 home premium operating system my 3d view is not working...Is there a file I need so my system will allow the software to work properly???
I have a newer laptop and the 3d view works fine on that laptop... Please help!!!1

You do not need any extra file to make the software working properly.
FYI, usual problems come from antivirus or firewall which block the local ethernet communication.

We would like to say: "FYI, usual problems come from antivirus or firewall which block the local IP communication".
Ethernet connection is not necessary.
