The Lighting Controller

Ran into another new issue today trying to help someone new out. They are using a Windows 7 based computer with 6.26. DMX out works fine when used in Editor mode. But in Live there is no output the the dongle. Yes DMX is activated as a output. Any ideas? Thank you.

We are not able to check old software version.
Oftenly, this problem is du to patched dmx outputs. May be this is the problem (?)
If not, first thing to do is to install the newest available version.

Sorry I miss typed. He is useing 6.29 and it is a fresh copy it was just installed and only one "test" scene has been made and added to LIVE. Should I have him try a reinstall? Could something have messed up in the install process?

Reinstal will change nothing, because existing lightshows are preserved.
However you can make a new empty lightshow, and check if still same problem.

PS: patched dmx outputs have different colors in ControlBoard > dmx bargraph

It could be a firewall problem too, try to disable it temporarily
