How to from ShowExpress 5.14 to 6

We have been using ShowExpress 5.14 at church for about a year now with great success. I'd like to upgrade the software but am not sure how to do so without losing our settings (fixtures, shows, etc). The company that installed the system did all the initial setup.
Also, what is the difference between ShowExpress and Sweetlight?
